The Storyteller is an exciting 60 minute ventriloquist program delivered by Author and Professional
Entertainer J. Allen Adams. In traditional storyteller costume, Jay portrays the storyteller Bendari aided by his
costumed Bird puppet and confidant Ren. This program is much more than just a reading, it is a one man, one-bird
re-inactment of Jay's short story collections. Along with the reinactment, the program also includes live ventriloquism, comedy
interaction dialog and original songs by Jay which he and puppet Ren sing together. Each program is a selection of one complete
short story written by Jay. Jay utilizes live ventriloquism, background sound effects, original songs with backgrounds, vocal
amplification and his clever voice-over talents to deliver these exciting re-inactments. By March of 2010 Jay plans to add
one full length 1 hour show. He plans to add one additional show per month throughout the year. The Storyteller will include
shows for children from age 3 to 10, YA shows for youths ages 10 to 16 and family shows for all age groups. All shows are
'G' Rated. Along with his traditional short story reinactments, Jay will also be adding holiday shows for both Halloween and
Christmas. The fee for the program is well within everyones budget. Audio CD's, DVD's, booklets of each program short story
and his current novels will be available for purchase at the programs.
